About This Project

The Outer Banks Seafood Festival is an annual festival whose mission is to provide a fun and educational experience promoting, honoring and celebrating its coastal seafood heritage and community. This site needed to be fun, simple to navigate and draw in the seafood festival going crowds with mouthwatering food photos as well as give the impression of day of family fun and entertainment. It also needed to appeal to the sponsors, volunteers, vendors and performers and have the functionality to easily gather all of these groups information through custom forms. The event schedule, ticketing, merchandise and directions were all very important elements to get right on this type of website.
